Crankshaft assembly

The role of the crankshaft assembly is to convert the reciprocating linear motion of the piston into its own rotary motion, so as to output power to the outside world, the crankshaft and crankshaft assembly is an important part of the engine.

The role of the cylinder block assembly is to provide the space that constitutes the combustion chamber, and the piston group can make reciprocating motion in it, as well as to provide the space for the cylinder for cooling, such as: water-cooled engine water jacket, air-cooled engine heat sink. In the case of an engine with a lowered camshaft, space is also provided for the arrangement of the camshaft and its support. Space is also provided for the connecting rods to swing and for the crankshaft to rotate, and for the crankshaft to be supported by the main bearing housing and the main bearing cap bolted to the main bearing.
